Yeah, thats us. Lots of pride, the odd bit of passion - but not much in the way of success, to be honest.
THE CHARLTON ATHLETIC ROLL OF HONOUR
1947: We won the FA Cup. UP THE ADDICKS!
1990: We nearly won a seat on the local council. YAY!
One trophy, and nearly one seat on the chuffing council - in more than a hundred years. Is it any wonder that we are all constantly in and out of therapy?
Our Man In The Know believes Parky will resist the temptation to bring Semedo back for the more creative Racon.
Having drawn five and lost one of their last eight games Charlton have seen Leeds and Norwich consolidate in the automatic promotion places. If Swindon win their games in hand they will move two points ahead of the Addicks.
Parkinson was pleased with the team's effort and performance on Tuesday and thought they deserved more than a draw from the game. He believes they will return to winning ways sooner rather than later and will be desperate to see them turn the corner at the County Ground.
Swindon's strike duo of Billy Paynter and Charlie Austin are in a rich vein of form right now and Parkinson will have them foremost in his mind as he formulates his game plan. Paynter has scored in his last seven League outings while Austin - recently rewarded with a new contract - has netted ten in his last eleven outings.
Parkinson will be tempted to keep the same side that started at Walsall but will condsider bringing the more defensively minded Jose Semedo back at the expense of Therry Racon.
He may start with this side: Elliot; Richardson, Sam Sodje, Dailly, Solly; Wagstaff, Racon, Bailey, Reid; Akpo Sodje, Burton.
Subs: Randolph, Basey, Llera, Semedo, Sam, McKenzie, Mooney.
Andy Hall from the West Midlands will be in charge.
This will be a real test for Charlton as Swindon are one of the League's in form teams. They will need to show a little more guile than of late and be more clinical in front of goal. Kyel Reid is improving with every game and will be a useful supply line for the front men. His performance will be key.
