Yeah, thats us. Lots of pride, the odd bit of passion - but not much in the way of success, to be honest.
THE CHARLTON ATHLETIC ROLL OF HONOUR
1947: We won the FA Cup. UP THE ADDICKS!
1990: We nearly won a seat on the local council. YAY!
One trophy, and nearly one seat on the chuffing council - in more than a hundred years. Is it any wonder that we are all constantly in and out of therapy?
After a blistering start things rather petered out after the break but hey, after three wins from the last four games we are not about to complain.
A bright but cold day at The Valley saw Charlton threaten to overwhelm their visitors early on, but after weathering the storm, Stockport probably shaded the second period.
Plenty going on pre-match too. I arrived to find Lloyd Sam deep in conversation with our very own Sam Lloyd. That turned out to be Lloyd's most telling contribution to the afternoon.
Jim Melrose and the legendary Derek Hales were in the club shop with both in great form.
Stockport started brightly and attacked from the off but were quickly forced back by the rampaging hosts. The breakthrough came in bizarre circumstances after just seven minutes. A cross from the left was headed out by Danny Swailes only for it to rebound off fellow central defender, Paul Huntington, and past Fon Williams.
Just three minutes later the game was effectively over. The Stockport defence was all over the place all afternoon, never more so than for the second goal. A right-wing cross from Richardson found Akpo Sodje unmarked in acres of space. The muscular striker planted his header firmly to the keeper's right.
Charlton went on to dominate the rest of the half with a combination of quick passing and movement. One move in particular had so many passes it was impossible to count.
Unfortunately the impressive Johnnie Jackson limped off with a hamstring problem five minutes before the break.
Charlton took their foot off the gas after the interval and the visitors went on to have marginally the better of things. Elliot let a free-kick slip through his fingers and then had a contretemps with Miguel Llera over a through ball.
Charlton were never in serious danger of surrendering their advantage and moved to within two points of Leeds.
The fans will now be licking their lips at the prospect of the game at Millwall on Saturday.

The Doctor Kish Man Of The Match was chosen by Nigel and Reece Reddick from Pembury. They chose Christian Dailly, " Was his usual quiet efficient self in bringing the ball out and snuffing out danger."
