Yeah, thats us. Lots of pride, the odd bit of passion - but not much in the way of success, to be honest.
THE CHARLTON ATHLETIC ROLL OF HONOUR
1947: We won the FA Cup. UP THE ADDICKS!
1990: We nearly won a seat on the local council. YAY!
One trophy, and nearly one seat on the chuffing council - in more than a hundred years. Is it any wonder that we are all constantly in and out of therapy?
Our Man In The Know is trying to read Parky's mind already and the game is still four days away.
The New Den will be a white hot cauldron on Saturday afternoon, both sets of fans will be up for the game as will the Millwall team. Phil Parkinson will be musing on both formation and personnel ahead of the game and will have to decide who will keep their head in the heat of battle.
Left-back will give him a problem. Johnnie Jackson looks unlikely to recover in time and, despite the financial constraints at the club, he may well have to dip into the loan market again.
Chris Solly can fill in but is more naturally suited to the right while another option, Jose Semedo, may be recalled to bolster the midfield. Therry Racon is a more gifted player but often flatters to deceive. Semedo has not been in great form but his more solid game may tip the scales in his favour.
Another option could be to switch Nicky Bailey, another not quite at his best recently, to the left and play Semedo alongside Racon. Jonjo Shelvey is another option if the manager decides on a five man midfield behind a lone striker.
When the starting line-up is announced it will give a good indication of Parkinson's intent, does he believe he can win it or will he try to ensure he doesn't lose it? No doubt he will be having a few sleepless nights running through his options between now and Saturday.
